Chakra Balance “Quickie”

12-minute audio sequence to balance chakra energy centers for today's meditator “on-the-go.” This recording features bronze Himalayan Jambati-Jhumka singing bowls from Nepal and an assortment of my new Signature Series singing bowl mallets by Dragonfly Percussion. Headphones recommended. Namaste.

P.S. This video contains slides with additional information pertaining to each chakra center. These overviews were intended for chakra neophytes or as a refresher for meditators. The audio begins immediately with the root chakra to help "get right to it” as the practitioner becomes increasingly familiar with each energy center.

Meditation Timers

Use the tracks linked below as the energetic “container” for your meditation practice or while practicing your breathwork. For beginners, I recommend using either a Box Breath or the 4-7-8 breath. If at any point the practice starts to feel strained or difficult, simply return to your natural pattern of breathing.

Box Breath

This calming breath is best done through the nose. The pattern involves equal breathing in 4’s: inhale for the count of 4, hold the breath for the count of 4, exhale for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4, then repeat the pattern. Keep your breath slow and smooth. Allow your system to calm and your belly to move freely in and out as needed.

4-7-8 Breath

This calming breath is best done through the nose and focuses on the calming sensation of the exhalation. Breathe in for a count of 7, hold the breath for a count of 4, then exhale for a count of 8.
